Aristo Dash 9 won't run after TE card removed.

We have a Dash 9 that we want to convert back to track power. We installed a TE receiver in it some time ago. When we removed the receiver from the socket and reinstalled the switch plate the engine will not run. Lights will come on but the motors will not engage. The switch has been turned to “track”. Does anyone know if there was a jumper to be placed back into the now empty socket?

Thanks in advance.

Yep, the “dummy plug”

Figured. I’ll have to solder one up using a Samtec header strip.
Thanks for the link.

Very impressive sounding!

LOL!

Nah, I work with electronics in my day job…The connector used in the Dash 9 is common as dirt in consumer electronics…I have a drawer full of samples I can steal from.

Yep, and I am sure you also saw that the plug has no polarity.

What do you do in electronics? I manage a small R&D firm, and have been playing with electrons a long time.

Cool, I would say that the “Aristo Socket” is like kindergarten for you ha ha!

We do some ultra wide band stuff, and moving it through connectors is fun to say the least.

Have fun and welcome to the forum!
