I recently brought an used Aristo Craft 0-4-0 Christmas Train Set, and the loco came with a part not shown in any of the photos of it. Nor is the part on the Exploded diagram for the 0-4-0 on the Aristo Craft website. While looking at photos of the other Aristo Craft 0-4-0 locos, I found where the part goes(between the headlight and the smokestack) but not what it is and whether or not it is prototypical for it to be on or off of the 0-4-0.

The only thing between the headlight and smokestack is the generator. Ralph
