April's a crazy busy month

Well things here have been crazy busy. When we got my Mom’s estate settled we had decided to get the 110 year old river rock footing taken care of. The mortar has been disintegrating since before we moved in, so getting it replaced with a seismic bolted down foundation has been on the list for a very long time. It’s a serious amount of work. They have to shore up the house, jackhammer the old footing out, then trench for the new concrete footing. They started on the 3rd. We are currently awaiting rebar inspection tomorrow, then they pour. On top of all this, the tensions with the economy forced me to move up replacing my Jeep Renegade with a new more reliable Toyota Rav4. I decided to jump on that when the Credit Union contact was telling me some manufacturers were talking about 15-20% price increases and that I should act now before things hit the fan. My contact was able to find the base model I wanted in my preferred color, so on top of the house, I have a new car as well. As I said crazy busy month. BTW anybody need any landscaping rocks we’ll have plenty to share.

Wow. That’s a crazy big job. Looking good though!

Vic, look at the bright side, there is lots of landscape material for an outdoor railroad there, and free.

Can you tally up shipping to the 17050 area code and get back to me?

I think I broke the postage calculator :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
