I bought a small collection of G and this Lionel set came with it.
The trains are in great shape and it comes with extra track pieces. It is missing the power plug/transformer that plugs to the track. This is a DC set and the instructions say that it runs off 18 volts so with meter in hand I connected a transformer to the track and the train ran and sounded great. The controller has buttons for horn, bell and a guy saying Railroady things.
The set includes the 0-8-0 with tender, a tanker, boxcar and the really cool porthole window Pennsy caboose.
The track is 8 curves, 6 short curves, 11 straight, 6 medium 4.5" and 2 short 2"
