Anyone in Tscon AZ ? [Not Trains]

I’m looking for someone with a decent (5MP or better) digital camera in Tuscon, AZ that would like to donate some camera time  There is a head shop downtown at 4th Ave. & 7th St. called the Hippie Gypsy that has a very cool mural on two sides. I can find some low-res photos on-line, but I need some better hi-res shots for a project I’m working on.

The shot above would be perfect if it were hi-res. I’d also like a hi-res shot of the other street side. Anyone ?

OMG!!! John has gone hippie, and retreated back to the 70’s, or was it the 60’s I forget now, must be mental-pause striking me. hee hee LOL The Regal

I don’t remember the 60’s. I forgot them during the 70’s

That’s bein what they call “an old fart” hah The Regal

Here’s where I’m going with this [It’s been a slow couple of days at work] …

I’d like it to be about 4 feet wide, but the resolution of the source photos is so low I don’t think I can get it blown up anywhere near that big. The first person to guess what I’m going to use it for wind s free beer next time I see them

Blowing it up to 4 feet…must be going on the camper

I might make it as far north as PA. Plan on spending a couple extra hours at the border crossing  Ralph

BTW.
How come there always has to be some kind of “catch” anytime I win anything

Put the bong down Jon…Ritchie Havens is on stage!

Yeah, maybe putting that on the back isn't such a good idea. Marilyn asked me how many times I thought we would get pulled over for a 'routine check' when towing the RV with that on the back.

It won’t be there in time for Canada anyway.

Believe it or not, the theme isn’t drugs or head shop culture. The name came from the Who song, Goin’ Mobile wherein there is a line something like ‘I’m just a Hippie Gypsy’. I decided to name the RV Hippie Gypsy a year or so ago and went searching the web for images I could borrow. I happened across both a head shop and a restaurant that had signage I could use. The headshop in Tuscon has such cool murals that I chose to create my own version of their mural and sign for the RV.

Really Mom, I never inhaled. :o

I like the idea.
I think it will look good.
Don’t let us discourage you.
You have a camper. You should be able to deliver that beer and keep it cold

If I ever get enough days off in a row I would really like to venture South. The furthest we’ve been (with the camper) is Elkins, WV which is still a long way from the Mason-Dixon line. On that trip we spent almost half of our time on the road. Next week’s adventure (beginning Friday night this week) will take us nearly 1200 miles in 11 days. That’s not too bad, but we’ll spend nearly all of 4 of those days on the road. Stopping every 15,0000 feet for gas is a bit of a pain :o

It’s cool Jon!
I totally want to destroy and graphitti up some of my stuff!

John you’ll have all the “potheads and deadheads” a followin you wherever you go! Hah LOL The Regal

Jon - it looks like we’ll be close in miles. It’s about 1300 miles for us. One difference is that we’ll be crossing at Ogdensburg. I’ve spent too much time waiting for customs on I-81.

Me too! Then again, I think Watertown spread the word to Ogdensburg to watch out for a white mini-van................;)
