Any LSC Members Going?

My wife and I are going to the West Coast Regional Meet in Portland, Oregon this coming weekend starting June 28th to June 30th. We will be there on Friday the 28th to visit Tom Millers fantastic looking indoor layout and the other layouts open that day. Then on Saturday the 29th we are going to see Gary Lee’s, Baker & Grande Ronde Railroad and several others. Gary Lee’s railroad was featured in the April issue of Garden Railways magazine.

We were wondering if any of our LSC family were going to this meet and maybe we could hook-up at one of the railroads. It would be great to meet more of our LSC family.

We’re leaving in a few minutes from Sacramento. Plan to be in Portland on Friday AM. There will be a number of folks from the Sacramento Valley Garden Rwy Society. Look for our Pullman green hats/shirts.

We’ll go to Tom Miller’s too! Look for you there, Chuck.

Chuck,

Get some good videos of Gary’s railroad. It’s one beautiful railroad.

We made it to Beaverton, Oregon today where we are staying. Our plans are to visit Tom Millers railroad first at 9am in the morning when he opens. Meeting one of my friends there from our club. Plan on taking lots of pictures. Will try to post some tomorrow night.
Dick, hopefully we’ll run into each other at Tom Millers or somewhere along the way. I’ll be wearing a black cap with Spokane International RR on it and a yellow badge on a landyard.

Have a great time, guys!

Well today started out at Tom Millers house. All I can say is WOW!!! This was the first thing we delt with and got to ride.

More to follow.

I was planning to go - going early and coming home late. But then “it was decided” that we’re going to the Yukon and Alaska instead.

So bring on the pictures! Thank you!

We got to Tom Miller’s Friday PM, after driving from Medford that day. Did meet up with Chuck briefly at the Lee’s layout on the top of a hill. Beautiful place. I had seen it at the Tacoma Convention, but they’ve added a whole new section for live steam, and enlarged the indoor yard!

Good (though brief) meeting with Chuck and his friend from Spokane!
