Has anyone ordered anything from this company and if so, what was your experience? Their prices appear to be the infamous “too good to be true”.
Thanks

never purchased, have seen VERY similar (if not same site) under different domain name recently…
do a Whois, and all the contact information that is REQUIRED by international law is missing…
The old adage, if it looks too good to be true, it probably is seems to apply.
Notice that in some of the text, it references “the seller”… but you never see “a seller”… my guess is that it harvests ebay auctions for the items, and then puts it’s own huge discount on the asking price… thus making the “list price” and description believable…

Don’t know…they may be fine, but they have no physical address, no telephone number, a suspicious very generic gmail address for contact/customer serivce, and they don’t tell you what shipping would be upfront, which in itself is a little scary; plus I can’t find them anywhere on the internet either as Learnig or their “parent” company.
They seem to take paypal, so if they really do maybe you could get your money back if nothing shows up. Don’t know.
I believe Greg has gotten this one cornered. I was able to find several of the items advertised for sale on Lernig as listed on E-bay. Clearly a cut and paste copy job. I have contacted the sellers to ask if they are aware of this. I have also reported it to E-bay. I do not believe this is a legitimate offering as the E-bay seller is still listing the items. You can see an example of both links below. There are several of these so I am not going to list anymore. You get the idea.
John I could not find anything for Pay-Pal. Maybe it was just noise they got by copying listings. I put some stuff in the shopping cart and checked their payment forms. They want a CVC… for god sakes nobody give them that.
No address or contact info. No shipping location. I think you are all correct, this is a big ol scam.
Good catch guys… maybe Bob will give you each a gold star.
The name of the business is a red flag right there. They can’t even spell “Learning”.
When I went to the Internet authority ICANN I reported them for not having the required contact information… there is a bunch of stuff that must be available, administrative contact name, email, phone, address, etc.
NONE of that information was there, the sum of the information was “Tokyo Japan”… Also, it’s registered by godaddy, shame on them…
Further, the web site itself (the host computer) is located in Kansas City, Missouri, and the ISP is WholeSale Internet, Inc.
Nasty…
Greg
Good Job all , Mark for asking about it and to internet good guys (that know where and how to check these things out) Greg and Boomer. No doubt they will catch some people with the scam but I am gald we have you guys on here
Misspelled names is my clue that it’s a shadow site aimed at careless spellers.
Making the site appear similar to the products advertised on a legit site,
the careless get taken and they rarely divulge their part of the misfortune…

I’m gald that they’re here too.
Thanks to all that did research. As I said - “too good to be true”. I guess that I’ll, as usual, stick to the known and trusted US based sellers that I have dealt with in the past.
Those prices were certainly attractive. Maybe if I’m feeling plush, I’ll buy something from them via PayPal as a test, being willing to get nothing and chalk it up to experience; though I doubt it!
Thanks again.

I wonder how many ‘curious’ it takes to pay for the time to create it?
Heed Bomer’s warning …
