Saw a PBS music special filmed at Longwood Gardens, which according to their site, has a large- scale garden railroad. Anything worth knowing about? Do we like it?

This was from a few years ago, but from talking with the operator, it changes every year. It’s a typical display layout, made for easy maintenance and public viewing.
I thought it was pretty nice.

They have a Christmas Light Show going on now till Jan.

And if your ever in the SE Pa area, it’s well worth a visit whether the trains are running or not. The gardens are spectacular, both inside and out. It’ll take the good part of a day to walk around the place.
Was the Longwood Garden Jackies performance??
The CD has much better music/sound as a studio controlled recording is much better than open air.
It is smaller this year because of the place it had to be set up this year. The construction of the road. bed and bridge is interesting. The bridge is 450 lb and it is 16’ long. Controlled with revolution base receivers. Bridgeworks power supplies are used.

Dan, you found us out. Yes it was Jackie’s show that we watched. We’ve seen her shows since she first came on the scene and she is, let’s say, unusual. An amazing voice for such a tiny person. But now that she is about to become a young woman, we wonder where she and/or her career will go. My wife and I are big musical theater fans and attendees (We already have our tickets to two Bway shows this coming summer) and know who the players are. Where Jackie is headed is an interesting question. She has the voice, but does she have the acting/performing chops to make it big?
About those trains at Longwood: cool, for what they are. And if they get someone interested in garden railroading than they’ve done a good job.
Wow that bridge is amazing!
Well, it’s not a Busse style garden. I’ll give them points for that
