Has the IW Inn re-opened yet? When I was there in July, the remodeling didn’t look like it was anywhere near complete.
Apparently so…
But I was there in the 90’s so can’t comment on anything currently. But it was an incredible stay, back then.

Well that’s great news Dave! The place was really under a significant restoration when I stopped by in July. The new owners have repositioned the hotel to a younger, higher income bunch.
It’s kinda ironic that the Useless Post from Rooster thread has been completely hijacked by fans of the Useless Post from Rooster thread.

Interesting. 2 of our 3 acres of property are under the governance of the Izaak Walton League, so while we can’t develop or use them, we have to pay property tax on them.
It can’t be all that bad, can it Cliff?
if you can’t even use those acres, they have no worth for you. and even selling seems not an option, because who would pay money for land he may not use.
so, why don’t you just donate them to the league? and get rid of the tax for nothing?
