                       Garden Tour
            Saturday, July 29th 10-3

8 gardens to tour. Small & large gardens focusing on annuals, perenials, water gardens and landscaping including 3 train gardens
$15 for member or $18 for non-members
Purchase tickets starting July 8th at the Museum, Rosemary House or the Garden Bouquet

Repairing and redoing things for the event. The biggest challenge was the fire house that I built in 2009 but it warped heavily and was too big anyway so I cut it in 1/2 repurpose and reuse what ya’ got… I love the results even though it’s on the 10’ rule!

I have been running trains as well. Just haven’t taken much video or downloaded it.

Anyone wanna come up and run on the 29’th I have track power and plenty of it but if you wanna do live steam or battery that is fine but the rails are live just like Amtrak!

Buildings really look great.

Prior to refurbishing Ken’s two, I really didn’t have much interest in buildings. But after placing them and taking pictures, they really do add to the overall look. I have a big box of broken Pola Buildings I was given. Maybe all this will inspire me to bash some more together.

Go for it Jon, love to see a good bash of a bunch of old buildings. I have some older used ones I need some ideas on what to do with them

Jon,

Hit up @Bill_Barnwell . He is a master at repurposing POLA buildings. He doesn’t always look at the forum pages, but I can put him in touch with you separately.

Eric

Well, before I bash any Pola parts, I still have Bruce’s water powered mill here that needs a place. The problem is that it needs a water source at second story level. The one spot that would work is in the middle of a walkway and far from the track.

Now, if BD would ever come pick it up, I wouldn’t have to worry about it.

For …Hollywood…the Victorian era is all about light and reflections as we have discussed many times. Looking at these crappy pics this evening and thought I would share them.

Working on a plan and I want my dog back (the one on the right ) but that ain’t happening !
BTW I have about $1500 worth of un-cashed Aristo Craft certificates that I could sell you for
$1500 if interested otherwise I’m keeping them with my art collection.

Perhaps the Amtrak cart could be Kidzilla’s… I’m married with youngins (only if I get invited to the wedding) house warming gift?

Meanwhile on the other side of the Parlor!

My Victorian Parlor is now officially protected! Fear the parlor !!!

That is awesome and hilarious at same time!!!, I would have put a FA-18 or better yet a F8F-2 Bearcat, but the idea is great!

Rooster;

I’m afraid that I am so old school that I would have a whole squadron of P38 Lightening aircraft (from WWII and called “fork-tailed devils by the Luftwaffe”).

To me, they are like Luke Skywalker’s X-wing fighter in WWII garb.

Best, David Meashey

Looks like 2 F-15’s framing a B-2 Spirit

The Rockwell B1B is my most favorite military jet Ever and Ever and Ever …(Taylor Swift ?)…However the B2 with the F22 raptors or perhaps they are F35’s were just a test but I actually like the squadron on my parlor ceiling ?
Don’t matter anyway cause it’s only a mock up like Cliff’s Comstock Sutro tunneling into the silver lining experiment!

Rooster’s can’t fly anyway!

Maybe at night they can, Bone afterburners at Las Vegas

The 3 plane flight is awesome looking, great idea, may do it in my office/ work room

I thought Roosta’s car would have more Amtrak colors
