Richard , your Highway 101 will be swamped by ships if you don’t switch your lighthouse back on .

Born and rased up north, did not have too many cake donuts from Dunkies or Jolly Pirate. An ex-Ohioan at a TN donut store (Shipley's) was the one that clued me into the love of the cake donut down here.Yeah, there are a few of those KKs around too. Ordered a cruller, and got a CAKE donut instead of a nice flaky pastry. Never again…blech!!! Reportedly, they may not make it out of bankruptcy.
I was born and raised up north too. I think maybe the cake donut is a TN. thing.
Worst donuts I ever had was just recently at a Dunkin Donuts in South Carolina. I swear they had to have been a week old.

Yeah, they are trucking them in now (see Shawn’s previous post).
Actually (donning the asbestos suit) our local Publix grocery bakes some decent donuts.
BTW, anyone else gotta drive nearly 400 miles for a decent pizza?

Okay guys! It’s back on. If you should happen to come visit via fishing boat I wouldn’t want you landing on the rocks.
Thank You Richard, Much better.
Richard , you have made an old man’s day brighter . (Tac will be pleased )

You wouldn’t be first though. A couple of kids got into that lighthouse a few years ago and broke one of the special (about 100 years old) lenses on the light. Took a year and many thousands of dollars to get another one from France.
