Today’s locomotive idea.

EEeewwww!! That critter must have had a really strange parentage!
Be neat to model, though.

Why don’t you give Rooster a challenge, and tell him he can use Amtrak livery?

Definitely an ‘Ugly Duckling’.

I am trying to figure out if it is a diesel/electric or a hydraulic drive.

I think it’s pedal powered.

It’s a forney! I kinda like it. Evidently it’s Cuban and this fella said he saw it push started!

Not sure about that? If the engine is on the truck and swivels with the truck, then its a Forney. Otherwise it’s just a boring old diesel with a mechanical transmission.

Good idea! But I think he goes by “Martha” now…

Dam you sir! Like I need yet another Critter to model

Just a couple of locomotive ideas and staying on topic as suggested! A little something for everyone I suppose?

Love the “car float” with all the 49 Fords!

I think the IC articulated streamliner was once dubbed the “big green cabbage worm” by some detractor. I may have read that in a book on streamliners.

Have fun, David Meashey

I wonder which inspired which…

Cliff;

Nah! Darth Vader’s helmet looks more like the front of a 1955 Buick Roadmaster. That was my Dad’s first Buick, and the helmet still reminds me of that car.

Don’t know Cliff but I did know this !

I’m still surprised that no one noticed the…ahhh never mind…

Noticed what, the hit and miss?

Or the “Steering Wheel” which I assume is the brakes.

Could be, a lot of later rail trucks were built converting the steering wheel to a braking system.
