Another picture deleting topic

Bob, a question.

If I have a picture called “abg12” in a freight shed file named “trains” and I delete it and use a different picture, on my computer files, and name it “abg12” and upload it to freight shed file named “trains” all I get is the original picture not the new picture. Is this glitch on your end or mine.

Thanks for your time.

Rick

I think you need to hit “Refresh” to clear the old one from your cache and then the new one will appear.

Thanks Ken,

But that doesn’t seem to do any good.

The only way I seem to be able to beat it is to change the numbering of the picture.

Even waiting a day and rebooting and re-refreshing if I use that number I get the old picture.

To prove if it is a cache issue on your end, or the wrong photo is actually in the freight shed, post it in this thread and tell us what it is supposed to look like. We might see the right one while you still see the old one.

Do you use the red circle with the white line through it to delete the picture?

The other thing I have found on occasion is that I will have more than one window of Freight Shed open. Each time a new window is open. Then when I go to turn my computer off, I found a Freight Shed open I had to close.

Yes I do, there is no issue with deleting the picture from frt. shed, hit the button and it is gone.

The problem is that in doing a series of pictures in my computer program, that is, reducing the size and naming/numbering them I made an error (had them out of sequence) and did not realize it until I uploaded them to frt. shed. I then deleted the offending image from frt. shed went to my computer program and changed the numbers to the correct sequence. I then uploaded the new correct photo with the old number and up pops the old photo, even though the old photo no longer exists on my computer.

Does that make sense??

Thanks for your time

Rick
