For those of you who asked for pics, I hope this works. The first is a train of all scratchbuilt rolling stock. [url]

[/url] If this works I will also post the few construction photos of the boxcars under the rolling stock heading. Enjoy

Welcome Ron. Very nice. We like pictures. Keep em coming. Ralph

WOW, those look good, I was really impressed by the coach and it’s interior. I made a coach, but skipped on the interior.

Thank you all for the encouraging comments. The coach still needs a few finishing touches but lots of time, the railroad is covered in snow for a few months yet.
Yes Terry, the management would be happy.
Jon, I am pretty happy that I was able figure out how to post the pics. How do I get rid of the [IMG] tags? Not being a __ but I am not that smart when it comes to the computer stuff and can use all the help I can get. Thanks.

Ron,

Great pictures! Thanks for sharing. Is that your trackage? How much do you have on the ground?

Hi Ron… Well it looks like you are doing a cut-and-paste of an image line from Photobucket. They assume that the forum software needs to have an image surrounded by what are called tags. Your cut-and-paste would look like this in the message editor… [code]

[/code] What you don’t need is the [ IMG ] and [ /IMG ] (I added spaces so they would show up as text). When you include the tags, the forum software just prints them as text like this…

If you were edit the pasted link, so that it looks like this… [code]

[/code] The result will be the photo alone without the [ IMG ] on the line above or [ /IMG ] on the line following the photo. It’s not a big deal, but just thought you might like to know that this forum software is smart enough to know when a URL is a photo. The edited code above produces…

Jon, Thank you for the advice on the posting. I will try that. Ric and all The first pic of the train is on the railroad. I have about 200 feet of mainline with a passing siding and a two track engine service area. There is no theme. Basically a large loop folded back on itself and the trains go round and round. Operations are not high on my priority as my primary interest is in the creating. Here are a couple of pics. Please be advised the railroad is still very much a work in progress. The first is the east end over the pond and stream just added this year.

The second is over the engine service area on the west end, engine house on this winters project list.

All of the visible structures are scratchbuilt. Enjoy
