Bob,
The problem was that I did not have you in my address book for that email addy yet. Problem fixed on this end.
So - How did we do?
The early adopters had a bunch of auctions end recently. Did anyone get bids over their reserve? Did items sell?
I didnt see any sell, but its still a new feature.
I’m announcing suspending listing fees until further notice, and dropping the various ‘highlight’ and ‘category’ fees to 5c
I bid on a few things.
A couple of them, I bid what I thought was a reasonable purchase price.
(In other words, about what I could get the same thing at an on-line store.)
No one else bid, or just a couple, and the reserve wasn’t met.
Guys, If you are going to try and sell something, don’t put a reserve on that’s the same or higher than another source.
Also, the nuts and bolts are fine, but you can get three or four times as many at Micro-fasteners, with cheaper freight.
This auction will not succeed, if nothing ever gets sold on it.
At least I participated…

I agree John. I can understand not wanting to give your stuff away, but it reserves need to be set realistically. The disadvantage here is that there is not enough audience to generate bidding frenzies - but if the word gets around it may get better.
Thanks Bob for extending the Free Trial. I’ve put together my list of what I want to part with and will start a few listings. Need some cash for York so Ken can leave the chain in his truck.
Jon
Dammit!
I can’t log in to bid.
