If there’s one thing I love more than a caboose, it’s a RED caboose. Helped out a little on a restoration project in Brighton ONT a while back, restoring a 1929 Point St Charles double-sheathed wooden caboose.
If I ever get rich, I want one of my own…[sigh]

If we get together when you come this way next year I’ll run you over to Moss Landing a few miles from here. On the island there is a red caboose in the residentail area that has been converted into a house. Looks really neat.
I think it’s nice to see rail road items like freight cars and engines that have been restored. History is always been a favor with many folks.
