Being that I just bought a gauge one live steamer(Southern Schools from Aster), I decided to take one of my gauge one Marklin Maxi cars and make up one of my custom cars in that gauge to pull with it. But, I did not want to permenantly change the car or ruin its value. Since its made of metal, I used real thin magnet material found on freebies from home shows, stuck to the cover of a phone books(who still gets those? We do for some reason). The images are from Google Images, printed on our printer on decal paper from Stables. I size the decal to the car, then stick to the magnet material and cut the material to match the decal. Still need to do one more for the door. The “you matter in this world” is a factory made magnet from the Autism Expo last year. They are easily removed to restore the car to its SBB livery. Should look splended behind the Schools at the steamup at the farm toy show in Indianapolis a week from tomorrow. Mike the Aspie
