Sadly I’ve come to expect much of the populace to act like sheep. They are too busy with their own little troubles to worry about the big picture. Obama has promised a bunch of pretty sounding “gimmees”…that’s all they really care about. They’ll worry about paying the piper after the dance… unless they can blame THAT on the repuglicans too.

People who vote either way based upon sound careful reasoned thought I can respect. – People who vote for superficial reasons, or in knee-jerk fashion WITHOUT thinking really need to sit through a civics class again. Or maybe put in a couple years foreign service in a country where people DON’T have a choice…


The sheep have been flocking to the pied pipers of tax cuts for the most part since 1980. When the sheep get hungry, the smart ones look somewhere else.

The US economy rises, The US$ increases in value and my stuff becomes more expensive in the US. I don’t think so.

Obama’s ideas may work SHORT term, but who is gonna PAY for them LONG term? Especially if they manage kill off all the golden geese (fat cat corporations (like GM?) and rich folks – who will BOTH move offshore if you push them too hard)… People who foment class warfare in EITHER direction are despicable… NeoCon and “Spread the Wealth” pretty liars alike.
