Anything that I could do to them to ‘weatherproof’ the electrical portion of these before they get installed? Seems they could stand something.
Pack it with dielectric grease and wrap with a roll of "Renolyds plastic wrap "

I have several of these that have been out in the weather for 3-4 years and have had no
difficulty with the electrical connections.
Where I have had trouble is with grit fouling the throwbar. The bar is very tight between the “ties”
and easily traps fine rock. No major thing but they do require some cleaning on occasion.
