I found some ‘hypodermic tubing’ in 36" lengths on Amazon - works great and is already grey colored!

Pete, thanks for that idea there. Nice. With the short evenings, I’d really like to get some lights on this locomotive.
I’m noticing there is a big ‘void’ in the tender, right behind the propane tank ‘tub’ area. Seems hollow but not accessible. It would seem to be a good spot for an ‘electronics/battery’ area. Don’t know how to get a clean cut in it though? A small hatch on the bottom would be good. Or a ‘speaker sized’ hole maybe? Hmm.

Accucraft is good at that. The C-16 modern versions all had the same issue - a fully enclosed space behind the water bath. A couple of people did cut a hole in it to gain access. Best of luck, and post the pics when you do!
