Large Scale Central

American Invasion of Canada 16 -19 July 2015

To all my good friends and brothers in spirit - have a great time over the next few days in the best company there could possibly be - freidns and little trains.

It doesn’t get much better than that.

…friends, fiends, or whatever “Freidns” are…along with trains, large or small, makes for a fun time. Wish you could be here, Terry…!!!

Always the optimist, aren’t you, Terry?

Hey guys, my cousin Sam, who works at P&G in Belleville, wants to know if it’s Boyce or Royce if he can get time off to drop around. I’ve been trying to get him into trains for a thousand years!

Best from me and ig and ken the GFT

This from our web site:

This year’s event will begin on Thursday, 16 July 2015 at Barry Birkett’s Belleville and Eastern Ontario Railway in Belleville, Ontario.

UPDATED 10 July 2015

We will start with narrow gauge at 10:00 am or thereabouts, and lunch will be pulled chicken this time. The standard gauge operation will be from 1:30 – 3:30, after which we have been invited to Evergreen Gardens in Picton, a beautiful garden railway by David Welsh, for a barbecue at 4:30-6:30 pm, after which people can head back to Ottawa or stay overnight in the area.

On Friday and Saturday July 17th and 18th, 2015 narrow gauge and standard gauge railway operations will be held on the Fred Mills’ IPP&W and RPM Railroads in Nepean (Ottawa), Ontario.

On Monday July 20th passenger train operations will be held at the Finger Lakes Live Steamers club facilities in Clyde, New York. There are also ride-on trains there to enjoy.

Y’all have a good time. Wish I could be there with you.

“What? Our fiends are invading Canada?”

“No dear, our friends.”
