I purchased several of the new AMC ICGRR pullman standard covered hoppers. When I went to convert the knuckle to Aristo Craft style, I found that the tongue was different than A/C, USA or Bachmann, it was a flat plate. I was wondering if any of you have converted the knuckles to Aristo Craft style, and if you have, how did you do it. Thanks.
Ron
Ron do you mean AML cars ? If so RJ should chime in here soon he’s done the conversion to Aristo couplers.
Me I prefer Kadees…

You did not mention if you are trying to do body mounts or use the toggle truck mount couplers. What I did is I just bought AC RB trucks with metal wheels and swapped out the trucks and couplers. Later RJD
You could also file the metal plate thinner to accept the AC coupler but not sure of the correct coupler Height. Later RJD
