Amazing Discoveries

Plenty, all related to Tonto and some of them have a really wicked sense of humour. And then there’s the rest of us Canucks, all more or less DPs (Delayed Pioneers).

Did you hear why the Mexicans object to Green Cards? Because they have enough experience that Green is an insult!

I was born in Canada. My parents were born in Canada. I sort of feel that I’m native to Canada, but I’m not considered a “Native Canadian”. To me being an Native Canadian is one who was born here and at least one or two generations before were born here. Apparently this isn’t the case, and I don’t get the free hand-outs that the so-called “Natives get”

All this means is that I have to use my own money for my toys, and pay taxes on the purchases, so that my tax dollars can go to the so-called natives, in order for them to pay for their toys…go figure…

I consider myself to be a “NATIVE CANADIAN”. And I’m very spoiled to be able to live in the best darn country in the world.

Fred,
I certainly think you would qualify as a native, as even the Indians most likely migrated from somewhere.
I see the Canucks have plenty of National pride also.
As a self proclaimed expert(all experts are self proclaimed) on the matters of natives…I proclaim you Native Canadian.

Careful. Don't tell the Yanks. If they find out this is the best country they'll all come up here. Then the whole country will be full of people griping about the government. Oh, wait. It already is.

Cheers

I’m off to Vegas for a week from Monday. Anything to see there? Cheers

Oh plenty to see. Hoover dam, a lunch cruise on Lake Mead, Valley of Fire just north of Vegas, and the Grand Canyon which is about a 4-5 hour drive east of Vegas. Not to mention plenty of train action along 1-5 south between Vegas and Barstow,

Vic,

I can’t see your pic. I have the new FireFox, so that might be my problem, if no one else has the same problem.

Geez. You mean to say there were scantilly clad women to be seen? Why didn’t somebody warn me? The visit to St.Aubins was interesting. A whole store devoted to G-Scale and no slot machines! Lost $250 at the blackjack table. But since they give you free beer while playing I figure I just about broke even. Oh, and the Alaskan king crab is now officially extinct. Cheers
