Aluminum bath-gon

Would like to model aluminum bath-gon coal car. Are any dimentioned drawings available.

Gary,
I believe that Marty Cozad over on the Aristo forum posted a thread on making something akin to what you are asking. Try the kitbashing section of that forum.

In case you missed Rod Hayward’s - http://www.largescalecentral.com/LSCForums/viewtopic.php?id=8719

Do you mean a BETHgon?

Might be easier doing a search by using the correct terminology - I found this set of isometric drawing in 0.0045 seconds - they could be useful to anybody thinking about building one of these bottom discharge coal cars.

And HERE are all the dimensions you could ever need…

Best of luck

Terry. nice sitem thanks for posting the link, not a conrail fan, but whoever put that site together did a nice job

Mine dont have a lot of detail, but they are all alloy and stainless steel, no plastic. I have just taken delivery of the second prototype and assembled it. More later. I confess I am not an expert when it comes to bottom discharges, although I did once have a peri-anal sinus excised. It was a pain the arse…

Or up Shot Creek with out a paddle?

Thanks for info on freightcar america. I would like to make a mold and need better dimensions. Are the HO cars accurate , or do I need to get out and measure a real car.
