Alternative to AMS sleepers (ties)

I have acquired about 100 Ft of AMS code 250 track but unfortunately all the sleepers (ties) have perished in the harsh Australian sun.

I am looking for a suitable replacement for the sleepers (ties) that will fit the rail but will be able to withstand high levels of UV radiation.

Any suggestions welcomed.

Sunset Valley tie strip will fit. I think Accucraft is out of stock.

Graeme, you could paint whatever ties you end up getting. A few coats of paint from your favorite rattle can, and you can improve the UV protection and the color of the ties.

Is micro engineering the same size rail as accucraft? I know that there are two different size foot patterns out there for 250 track, matbe more.

Thanks form the suggestions.

I have sorted out the ties and have found about half may be OK still.

My grand plan will be to use some good ones to keep the guage and the rest as spacers then using my track guage I’ll glue the rail to the ties using either epoxy or silastic silicone.
