Golden and Donald
The maintenance and ready yard at the Southend of Golden, enough trackage to hold 9 of the 111 car coal unit trains.
FRED was what I saw of the next train. Had to grab lunch on the fly and then really step on it to catch-up.
CP Rail on the Eastside of Rogers Pass
Spot right on the timezone line, it was blowing hard enough to topple the flimsy little tripod. Well, that won’t happen again … next time I pack the BIG stuff. The head of that tripod has been salvaged for “inside the vehicle” work.
