Due to a management decision to relocate the skunkworks and entire RoW approximately 70 miles, work on all projects was ceased effective this morning. Work is unlikely to resume for several months until the weather improves and other larger infrastructure projects are completed. AV Skunkworks Shop Manager, I. Ben Hadd expressed his disgust with the whole affair. Especially with the railroad not being able to find an amiable solution with the landowners of the current property. “Danged greedy bums!” He said, as he sadly locked the door and headed for his truck,“It’s gonna be a real hard winter for the boys.” As the afternoon wore on, the first loads of Allegheny Valley equipment were already being moved off the property…

Yeah right, I give it 2 weeks and we find out your doing projects on a makeshift workbench in the backseat of your car.

Not till it thaws. And Kim might be upset if I get plastic crumbs and wood bits all through it.

First, I'd have to rebuild the bathroom... of course anything I dropped should collect in the soft spots on the floor, right?

That might disturb the copperheads....

Of course y’all could come over and lend a hand. Then all that other crap (like overlaying floors, insulating walls, fixing broken junk, and undoing the previous owner’s ‘remodeling’ projects) would get done sooner. So I could get back to the important work (on the trains) :wink:

Hes working on stuff as he types on here. LOL At the speed Mik works he will be back to trains in a matter of days. When Ralph does his challenge he wont have a choice.
