So lets talk about the G3… Anyone have one yet and how does it work compared to the G2. The thing I noticed the most is the expanded light drivers and a smoke driver. Plus it is smaller. So guys like Jon and myself who are trying to cram a lot of stuff in a Bachmann Shay, this might be a solution.
just got one last w/e and plan on installing in RGS goose #7, with antena out the rear backup light hole. have not started install yet but should go quick once i remove the LocoLinc stuff.
I have one but it isn’t fully installed yet. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it can’t be cut in half. Not really a huge deal until you try to cram it into a bachmann 0-4-0 or a climax.

Ah, good thing to know Terry. I did cut my G2 in half so I could fit it in my Shay.
