Large Scale Central

Ah, History

** 1896 - Two locomotives are deliberately collided in the Great Train Wreck near Waco, Texas before a crowd of 30,000 spectators. Two men are killed and many injured by the resulting boiler explosions. **

… just so long as they didn’t kill any ground squirrels, spotted owls, snail darters …

Chris,

Just like Real Estate!

It’s about “Location, location, location”! Where in Texas?

It was between Waco Texas and a town called West just east of I-35. They named the area for the train wreck as “Crush” Texas.
The town of West has looked for many years to confirm if the Katy depot existed in 1896. They want photo proof. The Katy depot is now a museum in the center of West.

Great place to get Kalotches, the town is mostly Czech family’s.

Sooooooooo ......... how far is it from Waco to Wacko? Do they accept checks at the Czeck Stop? ;) :) It really is all about Location. :D

Wacko is just outside of Waco. And I believe they do take checks.
It’s funny going into the town meat store, they hand out sasuage links to the kids. Like other businesses would hand out lolly pops.
