Accucraft Wheels For Sale

As shown in posting -

I now have 5 sets of Accucraft/AMS wheels for sale. I’d like $15.00 for each set of 4 axles. Buy all 5 sets and I’ll pay the shipping.

Can’t understand why these didn’t sell. I’ll raise the price to $20.00 and throw in the Accucraft couplers. One of the 5 sets only has one coupler, so it will go for $18.00. Going to York, if somebody needs free shipping.

Rick,
Bring them to York. I know a couple of guys who will probably snap them up. Live steam group or Clems guys.

Noel,

That’s my plan. Lot of people talk about scale accuracy, but few seem to really want to deal with it.

Hmmm....Maybe the link to the post where you told us how useless they are ???? :D :D

I’d love to be able to use semi-scale flanges but very unlikely they would work outdoors for me either. Even my indoor track has a rough spot or two that would give these wheels fits.

I’m going to give Accucraft couplers a shot. I worked out a nice swap deal with John Bouck. I don’t like the Bachman metal Fn3 couplers - can’t get them to uncouple worth a darn. And I have never been able to get comfortable with that screwdriver method for Kadees. I love the Aristo/Delton couplers. Never any problems with them, but it seems easier to retro-fit the AccuCraft couplers to the Bachman stock.

Jon,

Ya think?

I thought at one time I would go with the traditional couplers instead of Kadees. The number of times that they didn’t couple without extra assistance or recentering or something brought me back to Kadees. See, now you got me given a sales pitch for the Accucraft couplers I’m trying to sell, also.

I’m sure there are far better, much more prototypical and far better model railroaders than me, that can use this fine equipment, I mean fine equipment.

I was waiting for the price to go down.

I’ll bet he won’t charge for transportation…

I don’t know, that might be how he makes up for a lower price.

awwwwwwww, Ric’s smiling, the price of gas isn’t 4 dollars… He’ll probably knock another nickel off the price per wheel…
