Accucraft Fn3 caboose problem

Darn it, - got my Accucraft long caboose back from the train club last night, where they were using it in a static display with a couple of suitable cars and a spare loco, only to find that one of the marker lights had been broken off, leaving it hanging in mid-air on the end of its electric string.

There is no obvious method of attachment that I can detect, nor any easy way of getting into it to make a fix.

Any ideas out there?

Tac,
Next time take your “floor model” such as a Bockmen, and leave the good stuff at home.

My Accu cubby’s are the plastic shorty cheapo’s, not brass, so I can’t help you.
Sorry.

Hard to say without seeing it, but if you just need to remount the marker lamp, I think you could do it with thick CA.

I’d try the thick CA too. Had that happen on a Accucraft model of a Ft Wilderness Car. Used CA to glue it back on…
