Accucraft Bumble Bee!

Off to Trevor’s this afternoon to see his new steam C-19 Bumble Bee that recently arrived from Royce at Quisenberry Station.

I’ll take the usual thirty second movie clips, and ask for my pal Warren to post them up - the Youtube versions are posted over here by a man much cleverer than I am.

Like most everybody… :frowning:

Talk to ya later…

PS - when me and Broos got there Trevor mournfully advised us that a crank-pin had fallen off somewhere around the circuit…bringing the train to a grinding halt. Thankfully no damage seems to have been done, but it is pro-tem hors de combat, if you’ll forgive the mixture of terminology.

So we were reduced to running the two Garratts, my Shay, a Lyn, a Mogul and a Caradoc [all Accucraft], as well as a very nice Roundhouse ‘William’ Fowler [that’s a ‘Billy’ with a tender]. John ran his new Berkshire, but it is still plagued with a miss-timed left-hand cylinder, and struggled embarrassingly for a $10k toy train. Ambient temperature of about 38F meant that our particular gas mix was NOT happy without warming - the Garratts have gas-tank warmers - and the Shay sounded like Howlin’ Harry Lemon, the old-time Ozarkian folk-singer. Still got a 40 minute run out of it though…
