My 2Cyl has the gas tank very near the burner. Once the loco starts to heat up the gas flows just fine. I have pre-heated it with a flood light bulb and I am fortunate that I can fire indoors, then drive outdoors.
Jon - I’ve finally gotten around to digging out the plastic plow I found at a yard sale - looks lile it came off a big model truck - even has dummy hydraulics and stuff. All for 50c.
I’ll be looking to put it on a shorty two-truck car I have around, and if the weather is wusser , giving it a whirl in the morning…
