OPERATIONS ?
It used to be a very active topic here on LSC, but with Ric, off on a FACEBOOKE kick, and seldom here, and the sad passing of Andy…is there a real active OPERATING group left to chat with ?
There are get-togethers on a twice yearly basis, and social “Roundy-Roundy” get-togethers, but are there any weekly, active, OPERATIONS going on anywhere, that feature an ongoing blog or web page keeping the enthusiasm going ?
Here in Ottawa, we have just shut down for the Winter, but are already planning for 2025’s NEW season, starting in May.
2024, in spite of a few rain-outs, saw 16 Saturday operating sessions, featuring an average of 20 operators each Saturday. Are we, as OVGRS the only truly active LS OPERATORS in North America ?
I hope there are others, and hope they might consider posting of their fun and friendships here on LSC.
