Somehow I managed to knock my scratchbuilt water tower off the edge of the layout today! Surprisingly, the damage was not as bad as I’d feared. A couple timbers snapped off the support structure, and several detail items popped off. Those things will be easy to fix. The worst damage was to the water level gauge, which got crushed. It was a real pain to make. I may replace it with a simpler, though less realistic, version.
