Great work! The potted trees by the main door are a nice touch, something you don’t see modeled very often.
Ray you have a nice railroad and website. I like the rock wall construction article.
John
I like your packing house. I grew up in Ontario so I have seen many of the packing houses. Are you planning a grove and pickers?
Thanks for the compliments to all. Doug, that is my brothers call as far where and even WHEN this monster will go up to Arrowhead. He keeps hinting at a table at Pomona and putting it up for sale. Won’t be a foreclosure as It is owned free and clear (LMAO). I just got into doing this as of sort of thing to occupy my free time and I have kind have gone to the extreme…Not quite a total rivet counter yet.
You mean he forgot to tell you he needs an ice shed to go with the packing shed and he actually meant that you are building the reefers? And how about a stack of citrus boxes? I have full-size packing labels if you need any ideas!
Doug, we actually have plans for a three car icing platform and ice house… I told my brother maybe we are going to use some compression to one car…even though the Southern Pacific had 100 car platforms on both sides of Donner Pass.
A 100-car platform would be quite a project! That wouldn’t even fit on one side of my layout!
And ust think how much lumber it would take!
Back to working on the rolling stock…

I got some small decals on their way for the doors and two big ones to replace the ones you used.
Any progress on the FGEX decals?
Well, If you would take the time to measure the size you need for ALL of them, then I could proceed as I have told you numerous times. Are you suffering from the “I can’t remember” disease?
Now, Now do you two need to be separated or sent to your rooms?
Hell, we ain’t in the same area code. My brother is forgetful once in a while. Too much fresh air up in the mountains I guess.
It’s that thin air in Lake Arrowhood!
