Thats pretty cool, Ric. Question. Your ‘trackplan’ on the sheet shows what looks like double track between Red Bud and Pin Oak, and then between Sea Weed Jct and Southern Junction? Or are those passing sidings? It also looks like there’s a ‘balloon loop’ around the Consolidated->KV Water->KV Office->Old State Light ?
Yes, there are passing sidings or two tracks to get to the locations. There is a figure 8 from SeaWeed Jct, through Sweetwater and then Beagle Jct. and back to Sweetwater. Because of a passing track from Seaweed Jct. to Sweetwater, a wye at Beagle Jct and a passing siding to Southern Jct. it comes out like that. The area of Consolidated is also a loop and a wye, so it works on the schematic that you have more than one route between some of those locations.
Consolidated and Southern have become areas where there are Yardmasters, like at Craig Leigh on the IPP&WRR at Fred’s. Wonder where we got that idea?
