if you think, you are boring us with this… just go on boring!
first question: the street, did you lay individual stones, or did you carve it?
Outstanding Xavier! I’d love to see your work anytime.
Hi !
The cobblestones are laid individually. Are small pieces of clay.
I carve cobbles in another diorama, but are still in progress. When it’s finished I post it.
Thanks

The realism of it is just AMAZING! ![]()
I’ve never been in Lisbon, but have railfan friends who have. This diorama looks like some of their pictures. Very, very nice.
I’m glad you like it. !
Thanks guys. !
Hi, again !
This diorama are in 1:24 scale (exact)
All you can see are scratchbuild.
The cobbles are small pieces of clay. Even some in the walkway. Others are made in wood.
The streetcar is a scratchbuild copying an Occre model.
At the start I was decide to finish the roofs with tiles, but at last, I build a small penthouse.

Thanks for watching
Regards

I was going to say the same. When a model stands up to close-up photography you know it was very well done. I’m always finding major flaws in my work when I shoot macro shots of it (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-surprised.gif)
Right down to the Mitsubishi logo on the window AC unit !!!
