Looking like progress Randy. Looks like we may see this in place soon.

What wood did you use for the planking? Looks a little like poplar…

Watching with admiration…

Randy looks really good. Now I’ll email you my address.
You pack up that buildlng real good, and send it to me I’ll take real good care of it for you.

Ken the planking is cedar, and David the station is a Standard CPR #14A Station design/build, so it’s not permitted to cross international boundaries, Sorry.

Randy I won’t tell anyone if you don’t.

looking real good, Randy…

Looks like that to me as well... Awaiting pictures of it's final home Randy! Nice work....:)

Read Ross…it’s Western Red Cedar…comes in a variety of colors (colours). BTW all those planks came from the same piece of 2 X 4 Cedar.

Looks good but when do we get to see trains running?

I did Randy.....but you didn't state that for your platform planks ......

Okay, this project is mostly done. Got the platform weathered abit, finished the shingles, BTW I figure it took more than 3,000 to do the job. No more shingles on my builds for awhile!!! And it is planted on the foundation. Now for a little landscaping and a few sets of stairs.

Excellent!!!

Fantastic build Randy. The shingles turned out great. They really help the overall appearence of the station. I also like the platform supports they look great.

I’d say the tedium of attaching the shingles was worth it. Very real looking. The board-and-batten siding looks super as well. Great job!

Wow!!!

That is some mighty fine work, Randy. Modeling at its best. Alas, your pooch seems out of scale (7/8 perhaps?)

Nice, like it belongs there…
