Be certain to get a copy of the current (July / August) issue of the Narrow Gauge and Short Line Gazette. There you will find Bob Poli’s article on his 1:20.3 scale model of the West Side Lumber Company’s Tuolumne Yard. Bob lives in the S. San Francisco Bay area and has built a separate building for his 1:20.3 West Side Lumber Co. RR. He says that the Tuolumne Yard is now ~90% complete.
I have known Bob for quite some years now. He has a unique ability to build historically accurate models with detail that is just spectacular. His further artistic capability includes photographing those models. The photos accompanying his article are gorgeous. Looking at them, you just can not believe it is a model!
