Satin Act? As in Vegas Showgirls, or what?

The man has no 'nads. The boxes looked empty. Only really counts if the boxes are loaded with german crap.

Ya, but it sure helped keep us all warm at our meeting. Wait until next month.

Chuck

I can honestly tell you that (a certain brand of) trains stink.
Truly.

When I had my last go-round with the lead kool-aid mixologist, I burned them (no boxes).
Still have a spot in the grass we can’t get the grass to grow after that.

Oh dear, how provocative!

I’ve been aiding “GlowBall” warming (Just to give Ottawa a warm and enjoyable Winter) for many, many years. We burn boxes from all manufacturers, and in some cases parts of their products.

All of the manufacturers produce junk of one type or another. All their junk burns with a rather dark red flame and produce a cloud of very black smoke. The smoke, if collected and cooled, leaves a layer of soot, that when mixed with alcohol, is great for staining wood for modelling purposes.
All the boxes from all of the suppliers burn very cleanly and produce good heat.

The only waste from all the packaging from all manufacturers, that I don’t burn is the Styrofoam, which I shred well, and mail back to them, on a regular basis.
I would burn it, but it coats everything in sight, and is not pleasant. Besides the neighbours started to complain of dirty clothes on their clothes lines.

I hope, after writing this, that no manufacturer feels left out of our efforts to improve the chances of growing Palm Trees successfully in Ottawa, and enjoying the operation of a Large Scale Model Railroad, all year long, out of doors.

Yes, Dave.....we used to burn out on the lawn, but as you noted, the grass doesn't grow there any longer. This burning has helped tremendously with not needing a lawn mower......I now am able to devote the lawn mowing time to enjoying good holy water, while operating the railroad, just that much more often.

There is the last word: The more you fill your yard with LS railroad track; the less lawn you have to water, or mow.
You save on wasted labour, wasted water, and gain so much more fun with the railroad.
The money saved by not purchasing the lawn mower, the lawseed, ferilizer, and water, (That can better be used for drinking and bathing) will purchase at least a HUNDRED feet of track per year.

Fred, Dave, geez you could have just sent all that “stinky stuff” to poor little me, I have ways of recycling stuff like that…

Ah, but C.A.R.B. would disdain the burning of said items.
We find the burning in an area well separated from The Governator is far more fun.

We sell tickets!

I waz thinkn parts bash type of recycling stuff … not molotov cocktails, which really depend on how good the vodka is, and not who’s cardboard is stuffed in the bottles neck.

I’d like to know what effect burning LGB boxes will have on the Japanese Parliament?

Dunno, but it’ll set the fans spinning.

My riding mower went TU two years ago. I replaced it by covering the entire yard with a railroad. Don't see the need to buy another mower.
