Large Scale Central

A new depot

I recently went to both party’s county conventions. They were very happy to give me as many of those signs as I wanted. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

ha ha ha, I think they just might had had a different use in mind.

Steve, some days ago i saw a pic in a blog. somebody had taken the rep. sign, and just cut off the first and the last letter of the candidate’s name.

the result was very naval.

Did you tell them you would be more than happy to put them up all over your yard. . . after all that wouldn’t be a lie.

Trouble with using campaign signs… after a while, some of your buildings begin to lean to the left, others to the right…

Later,

Yes,

However some tend to be independently strong!

With the proper application of cash and favors you can get them to lean back the other way.

Mine do that, anyway, no matter how much glue I use. (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-surprised.gif)

Well you have a rare sort of building that can’t be persuaded.

Last one I built Flip-flopped so bad, it tore itself apart!

Mine didn’t do any of that. But, no one could understand what it was, and what it stood for, so I gave it away.

Y’all have successfully amused me (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)which is quite welcome since I don’t feel good and am a bit stressed today.

Well that’s good. It nice to know some good has come from campaign signs consider most of the time they just fade away after the campaign and do very little good for anyone.

Haven’t had much progress on this since the weather has been too nice and I’ve been getting ready to head up to Fred’s. I did however realize the dormers were too low after trying to figure in the windows on them. Might be an easy fix, but we’ll see.

Just an FYI, the original station still exists in Ridgeway. It has been turned into a private residence, moved and turned 90 degrees. The freight section is gone and a 2 car garage has been added.

Not to change the subject, but a little bit of progress has been made.

Front or tower side.

I found from some pictures Jim Kottkamp sent me that this side is offset where the twin dormers are.

I didn’t notice that in the other pictures I had, so I had to make a few changes.

Wow…that’s quite the interesting roof! LOTS of pieces to cut and fit.

Looking good.

Yea, I can’t wait to get to that part…(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

That is a good job on the depot! What is the dimensions of the depot?

The depot itself is 20" x"12", with the freight end adding another 12" to it.

incredible work!
