Large Scale Central

A handy how-to site for modeling buildings

Stumbled across this site while Googling “Primed MDF Board,” whose name I jotted down, not knowing what the stuff is and why we need it. Anyways, one of the sites that gave an explanation was this one, which has a bunch of dollhouse related how-to features such as how to build your own miniature furniture (say that fast five times after you’re half in the bag). Haven’t had a chance to explore the site yet (I have another project working), but it looks interesting.

Have fun. Lemme know what y’all think, as if you wouldn’t.

Polymer clay is also known as Sculpy and the like, lots of us use it for figures and that kinda thing…I used to have a book on m aking scale foods out of it but its gotten lost somewhere…

Joe The Primed MDF would be good to use if you are building a structure for indoor use, but MDF is a NO No for outdoor use. It will wick up mosture and expand to about twice its original thickness even when primed. Mosture and water is not a friend to MDF even when it is painted.
