Large Scale Central

A Grand Day on the WV&K

Well wasn’t really all that spectactuar, but it made me happy…Batteries were charged…repairs were made…Light locomotives were seen moving about the layout…Two Shays No7 and No9 strolled around, whilst the Half Spot was seen scurrying about, plans were planned, and dreams were dreamed…and all was right in the World…

You are so right , and you described the joy of our outdoor trains , so well .
Lots of times , while out running the trains , the smile created , goes really really deep inside .

Life is not made of just moments, but moments that take your breath away.

You have now lived!

Great, Bart. I'm looking longingly at the not-maintaned RR this year... sigh... already told SWMBO that next year is train year...

Bart,

Glad to hear you had some time running trains. Its good to see you posting, again. At least, we know you are alive.

…a picture of Bart operating his railroad, dressed only in a thong and sandles, would not in any way aid your concept of his pike…!!!

SAme Old Stuff everyone has seen before…light engines piddlin round with the odd freight car…looks the same now as it did this spring…

No, no, no…I just can’t bear a string in my crack…

Can you imagine someone wearing a thong to go fishing?

All day long, cast and tug, cast and tug. Cast and…

Steve, I would rather NOT imagine you fishing wearing a thong… :frowning:

Could get a mite painful if a big old pike gets ahold of the bait ...

Not me. Love them boxcab diesels (or is it a permanently coupled pair?). Scratchbuilt?

Bruce built a box cab too…
