Yes they did and one can be spotted at the 2:10 mark when Santa uses his Christmas magic to lift the train off the track and fly it to the tree. 
I used to be mesmerised by the on rail action, but now have to sit further back from the iPad, to fit every frame of Todd’s videos in my peripheral vision, so I won’t miss any appearance of the legendary cape cod GHA special effects.
I blame Bruce!
