Isn’t that BNSF a really nice color scheme , that was the first Dash that I bought . Thanks for shareing your trains and layout , youtube is a great way to show your layout to others .
Nice, Dave. Close clearance with the RDC and the concrete wall!
I think it’s great having a place like YouTube…especially considering that today’s digital cameras can take half way decent short movies.
Thanks for sharing!
Bob McCown said:Track area is bounded by house, shed, fence and the 5000 gallon concrete water tank you see in the vid. Yes, it's a close-run thing. Near the tank, the track is anchored to bricks laid with a very slight camber inwards so the trains tilt away from the tank.

Good video, Constant speed, R/C batteries? Thanks for sharing.
Track power, John, via a 20 amp Bridgewerks hooked into a stepdown (Australia is 240v) that would do the job with a CAT scanner. As a bonus, I also get surge and brownout protection, a good thing when expensive imported electronic gear needs to be mated to our flaky Perth power supply.
I got hooked on the ability of the Bridgewerks to let me easily configure a couple of switches that allow my grandsons to run the trains safely. Press a button and the train goes, up to the maximum speed set on the controller. Release that button and the train glides to a stop.
My knowledge of electronics is rudimentary, and I’m about as good with a soldering iron as I am with a welder, so the word “ugly” takes on a totally new meaning! That doesn’t deter me in the slightest from having a go, but it’s also made me a big fan of simplicity.
