And one of “Tiny” Pearce. LSCer from the early days. The only guy that could make a K-36 look small.

Great shot of Tiny! Him and his desert railroad were very popular. Had a lot of chats with him back in the day, not in person, but over the net.

Thanks for posting the memories Bob.

Tiny was a great guy. On this trip he and I met Chile John and Rick Henderson in Santa Fe for lunch and the next day Tiny and I rode the train in the gondola.

I don’t think I remember Rick but Chile John for sure another cool guy, I assume he is gone as well.

Yea, CJ passed in 2009. Great guy.

EDIT: Had to dig, but found his whistle tribute on the CTS

And the thread on the NG Discussion forum about him

Thanks Bob, that’s cool stuff. 2009 wow that long ago, I often forget how long some of us have been hanging around these model train forums.

Wasn’t Tiny the guy with the Yosmite Sam avatar and the red rock desert railroad?

Tiny’s RR was Desert Springs and Rattler Gap. This is his OLD website before he got his own domain.
