Here is another one I really like. It is/was a 24 ton Heisler built for the Elk River Mill and Lumber co. in
1927. Sold to a scrapper in the late 1930’s who junked the boiler and sold the rest to Mutual Plywood who installed a Murphey Diesel on board and used it as a mill yard switcher up into the 1960’s. It changed hands a couple more times and ended up at Timber Heritage in Samoa, CA. It still runs but really isn’t operational.
