Large Scale Central

A Different View

I was out mowing the other day, and when I got to the top of the hill in the backyard, I looked at the railroad… It gave me a new view of the railroad that I really hadn’t looked at that much… I went out a little while ago with my camera, below are some pictues of the view…

Hey Andy, lots of room for expansion. :stuck_out_tongue: :open_mouth:

Jane is doing a wonderful job. Coming along very nicely.

Great pics Andy. Really like the looks of that track and the plantings, well laid out pike. It’s a shame there are no trains on it to run.

Dave, I have to deal with priorites… today was backfilling the wall in the foreground, and getting drainage right in Woodlawn… Hopefully, tomorrow is working on the end of the wall in the foreground down in the lower right of the last picture… We marked the line where the branchline will run out of Woodlawn, and how the Hilltop mainline will run… I need to pull out the 2 temp bridges just south of Sparta, and get the abutments in for the bridges, as the rain has washed out the ground, and lowered one end of the temp bridge…

Randy… please don’t tell Jane that… She might think she can start slacking…

HJ, yes, there is… and in another 4-5 years, I hope to expand it just a little…

Not to worry Andy, I don’t think ‘slacking’ is in that woman’s vocabulary.

Nice Andy.
Four wheeler or golf cart to chase the train
Ralph

Nice overall view of the railroad. Really shows how much you’ve accomplished in a few short years.

WHOW what a layout. It must be nice to have all that room. Makes for nice L O N G trains! Looken good.

Paul

Nice layout. It always helps to get a good overall view once in a while.

Looks purty darn good, Andy…can’t wait to see all this progress in person.

Impressive work. Congratulations!!!

Thats impresive Andy. You guys are doing a great job. I can see why Rooster has not helped his dad. Thats too much work for him LOL

That is looking great.

You have a virtual FOREST.

Thanks for the comments, guys… much appreciated… It’s getting closer to looking like what I envisioned years ago…
