They are known as Horse Baggage cars. One end was a full width door for loading equipment, Since in a lot of cases these cars wold sit idle in off seasons of the horse racing tracks this door also made the cars usable for long stage props for traveling shows and as your pic shows (when I searched google) hauling race cars and other special needs equipment.
Note the full end door in the pic. I have a build thread on a different style of horse car I did two years back (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)
